Dear guests,

At last we can finally welcome you back to an overnight stay at our experience hotels!

In accordance with the current Corona Protection Regulations of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the 2G regulation (vaccinated, recovered) applies to your overnight stay at our experience hotels from Wednesday, 24. November 2021. This applies to all guests aged 16 and over.

In addition to an official proof of eligibility (2G: vaccinated, recovered), you will still need a pre-booked online ticket.

Exceptions: No proof of eligibility is required according to the current Corona Protection Regulation:

  • Children up to and including 6 years of age.
  • Children and adolescents from 7 up to and including 15 years attending school in Germany - with proof of age (e.g. ID, birth certificate, school report, etc.) outside school holidays.
Special cases

Special regulations apply to the following groups of persons:

  • Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons need a medical certificate and a negative covid test certificate from an official testing centre.
  • Pregnant women: Maternity passport or medical certificate* necessary and negative covid test required.

The same regulations regarding proof of eligibility (vaccinated, recovered) apply to visits to our theme park and the dinner show Fantissima.

Requirements for your overnight stay

For a relaxing short break at Phantasialand experience hotels, please bring the following with you:

Proof of eligibility

2G regulation - Valid proof (printed or digital on smartphone) of complete vaccination or recovery.

Photo ID

A valid photo ID is required from each guest on arrival at the reception.

Medical Mask

Wearing a medical mask or FFP2 mask in all indoor areas of our experience hotels (outside your own hotel room) and during your visit to Phantasialand is mandatory. Mouth-nose protection does not have to be worn in all outdoor areas of Phantasialand. In all indoor areas, in the attractions as well as in the queuing area, at the entrances and everywhere where the minimum distance of 1.5m cannot be maintained, the wearing of a medical mask is mandatory. This mask requirement applies to all guests over 6 years of age without exception.

Day-bound online ticket

For your visit to Phantasialand, you need a binding online ticket booked in advance for a fixed date. You can either add this directly to your room booking or book it separately via our online shop. If you book a hotel room at the Hotel Charles Lindbergh, the day-bound tickets will automatically be added to your experience package.

What counts as proof of eligibility

Tested

An officially recognised, negative Corona test result (PCR or rapid test). At time of arrival at the Phantasialand experience hotels this test must be no older than 24 hours. We must ask you to refresh your negative COVID 19 test with another test before 72 hours have elapsed (according to the time on the test certificate). Please present the refreshed test to reception afterwards as a renewal of your proof of authorisation.

Children up to and including 6 years of age can get access without proof of authorisation. Children and teenagers of school age from 7 years onwards also can get access without separate proof of eligibility, provided they can present a valid school ID. Alternatively, we will of course continue to accept the proof of authorisation (tested, recovered, vaccinated) for children and teenagers.
This means that we comply with the current Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Should there be any additions to this regulation, we will adapt the rules accordingly.

Please note: We can only accept tests from an official testing centre. Self-tests brought along do not count as proof of testing.

 

Vaccinated

Your official proof of vaccination or vaccination passport. The original vaccination passport must be presented (not a copy). The proof of completed vaccination must be older than 14 days.

 

Recovered

The positive PCR test result of your Covid19 disease. This must be at least 28 days old. If your positive test result is more than 6 months old, you must also bring your official proof of vaccination or vaccination passport.

Exceptions and special cases

Exceptions: No proof of eligibility is required according to the current Corona Protection Regulation:

  • Children up to and including 6 years of age.
  • Children and adolescents from 7 up to and including 15 years attending school in Germany - with proof of age (e.g. ID, birth certificate, school report, etc.) outside school holidays.

We urge you to arrive with one of the above-mentioned credentials. Furthermore we ask you to ensure that the documents mentioned above are complete before your arrival. If they are not complete, admission to Phantasialand will not be possible despite a valid ticket.

 

Checks will be carried out on site at the check-in / entrance.

Rebooking & Cancellation

We offer guests who have booked an overnight stay up to and including 09.06.2021 flexible options for rebooking. You will be informed about these by email from us.

Due to the current situation, we have relaxed our cancellation conditions for you!
For bookings up to and including 23 January 2022 you have the possibility to rebook or cancel your booking free of charge up to 3 days before your arrival.

Good to know

Check-In

We welcome you to your adventure hotel and are happy to welcome one person per booking at the check-in.

Check-Out

Please use our contactless check-out upon departure to avoid waiting times at the reception.

Mouth-Nose Protection

We ask you to always wear a mouth-nose protection in the hotel, outside your room. This also applies to walking around in restaurants and bars - the mouth-nose protection can be removed at your seat.

Available Services

We ask for your understanding that not all offers and services may be available to the full extent or at all. Due to the dynamic situation, unforeseeable changes may occur at short notice.

Breakfast

At check-in we inform you about your personal breakfast time. This way we make sure that we can provide you with your table without a long waiting time. Breakfast is included in your booking.

Table reservation dinner

A binding table reservation is required to visit the restaurants. Upon arrival, we will be happy to take your table reservation for dinner.

Guests of the Hotel Ling Bao or Matamba have the possibility to reserve their African or Asian dinner online here before arrival.

Restaurant & bar guests without hotel booking

Guests who wish to visit our restaurants or bars but are not staying at the hotel also need a valid proof of eligibility, photo ID and medical mask. An online reservation is required to visit the hotel restaurants. Please understand that we can only welcome guests without a hotel reservation subject to availability.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Due to the current situation we have relaxed our cancellation policy for you! For bookings up to and including You have the possibility to rebook or cancel your booking free of charge at any time up to 3 days before arrival up to and including 23 january 2022!

 

I feel sick before my arrival. What should I do?

If you fall ill or show symptoms before your arrival, please contact us by phone at +49 (0)2232 36-600.

 

I had already booked a stay at an experience hotel – how can I keep my booking?

If you have already booked a stay in one of our experience hotels, we offer you the possibility to change your reservation to a later date. We will contact you shortly using the contact details we have on file. You do not have to do anything yourself. Should you have any further questions regarding your rebooking, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone on: +49 (0)2232 36-600.

Please understand that, exceptionally, there may be longer processing times during these days.

 

How can I book a table in one of the restaurants in the experience hotels ?

During your on-site check-in, we will gladly reserve a table for your dinner.

Guests of the Hotel Ling Bao or Matamba have the possibility to book their African or Asian dinner online here before arrival.

Please note that the opening hours of our restaurants may vary in the current situation.

 

Can I book a table in the hotel restaurants and bars if I am not a hotel guest?

We are happy to welcome you in our restaurants and bars even if you are not staying in our hotels. For this, you will need a valid proof of eligibility, photo ID and a medical mask. An online reservation is required to visit the hotel restaurants. Please understand that we can only welcome guests without a hotel reservation subject to availability.

 

Are the extra time and the Hotel Quick Pass offered?

We cannot offer the extra time on Taron and Raik and the Hotel-Quick-Pass until further notice.

Overnight guests of the Hotel Charles Lindbergh receive the Charles Lindbergh Ticket. With this ticket you get once a day faster access to the Flying Launch Coaster F.L.Y. via an exclusive entrance.

 

Are there any offers that are not available for the time being?

Unfortunately, the children's reception, the playroom and the mascots in the hotels are currently not available. We ask for your understanding that other offers and services may not be available in full or at all at short notice. We can currently only offer our pool area to a limited number of guests for a limited period of time.
